Someone once asked me "Charles, where did you get all your persistence and determination from, that you are willing to persist all the way to the end"
My answer," It's not me who is strong, but he who lives in me gives me strength :)" I believe I am not extraordinary , but I can do extraordinary things in him whom I believe in. Perhaps this video from the famous Passion of Christ can share my heartbeat with my friends all over the world :)
Was searching the net and found a cool pic of the layout of the Monheim Bayercropscience picture where I worked. Do take a look, this is where I go to work for the past half a year

Here are a new series of photos from Amsterdam, the city of freedom in Europe. Nice city with it's beautiful water channels and breath taking landscapes, certainly a nice time there. For the singapore friends out there, Coffeeshops seen in the photos are not the Kopithiam we see in singapore, it is where pple go to smoke marijuana :( , well that is the culture of the city. At first it was shocking to me also, but let us shower our love and pray for the city :), with god's love I believe Amsterdam will be the Ninevea which will turn back and repent .
New photo series coming for Berlin and Romantic Trip to the Rhine River, sorry guys for not posting so often, it takes 2 hours per post cuz of the enormous number of photos .... I promise I will take time out to post them :)
Read some meaningful words from the daily bread that really speaks to my heart, and I thought of sharing these words with you guys. Just a word of encouragement to those who are sick, lonely, or even stressed from their work, or constantly feeling the pressure of needing to meet up some expectations of people. Press on and do not give up!

A 19-Mile Fall
Underneath are the everlasting arms. —Deuteronomy 33:27
On August 27, 1960, US Air Force Captain Joseph Kittinger Jr. sat in a gondola suspended from a high-altitude balloon. When the balloon reached 102,800 feet above the surface of Earth (more than 19 miles), Kittinger jumped out. Four minutes and 36 seconds later his main parachute opened at 18,000 feet, but not before he had attained a velocity of 614 miles per hour! Kittinger carefully planned his record-setting descent.
In the spiritual realm, we're more likely to find that life is filled with unexpected free falls. The loss of a loved one, a broken relationship, or a terminated job can make us feel as if we're dropping into the unknown. For believers, there is a spiritual "parachute"—the loving arms of God.
Thousands of years ago, Moses wrote these words to the Israelites just before he died: "The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms" (Deut. 33:27). The words "everlasting arms" refer to the protection and preservation of God's people. Despite the stressful circumstances they would surely face, they could rest in the assurance of God's watchful care.
Do you feel as if you're in a free fall? Take heart. God's loving arms are there to catch you. —Dennis Fisher
O the sweet unfailing refuge Of the everlasting arms; In their loving clasp enfolded Nothing worries or alarms. —Hennessay
With God behind you and His arms beneath you, you can face whatever lies ahead of you.
Hey guys here are tonnes of pictures I took in Brussels which is 3 hours from cologne. It is the capital of Belgium and people call it the capital of Europe. City of comics where tin tin and obelix comes from and beautiful architecture shape the landscape. :) Really amazed by the beautiful structures there :)

In germany Wupper means a small stream of water and tal means valley. This town is a town located in a valley with of cuz a stream of water flowing through.
Dear all, here are some pictures of the baptism service conducted here in the Rhine River, it is really a nice place and it was a time where I can sense god unifying our hearts as we worship and celebrate his presence and rejoice for the baptism of our fellow brothers and sisters into the body of christ.
Just a passage from the daily bread to bless those who feels tired and stressed from the work and tiring life they are experiencing through :)
Peaceful Anxiety
I was scheduled to teach at a Bible conference outside the US and was waiting for my visa to be approved. It had been rejected once, and time was slipping away. Without the visa, I would lose an opportunity for ministry, and my colleagues in that country would have to find another speaker at the last minute.
During those stressful days, a co-worker asked how I felt about it all. I told him I was experiencing “peaceful anxiety.” When he looked at me rather quizzically, I explained: “I have had anxiety because I need the visa and there is nothing I can do about it. But I have great peace because I know that, after all, there is nothing I can do about it!”
It’s comforting to know that such things are in our Father’s hands. My inability to do anything about the problem was more than matched by my confidence in God, for whom all things are possible. As I prayed about the situation, my anxiety was replaced by His peace (Phil. 4:6-7).
The problems of life can be taxing on us—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Yet, as we learn to trust in the Father’s care, we can have the peace that not only surpasses all understanding but also overcomes our anxiety. We can be at rest, for we are in God’s hands.
When we keep our minds on God, God will keep our minds at peace.
